Hi my name is cipri, I'm planning to go for honeymoon from jakarta to paris, by flight to prague and train to vienna, insbruck and lucerne. I wonder how is the situation in the that particular city and how is the condition in train station, I heard from my friend that many of the train schedule was cancel because many of refugee trying to get into the train and the custom clearance didn't accomodate tourist so well. So my friend ask me to cancel the trip just go from paris to lucerne. I never been to prague and vienna...but I think it is a very beautiful place for honeymooner, I saw it on the net ;). Please give us advise so i wouldnt ruin our honeymoon we are planning to go early November this year. Thank you very much.

We just got to St. Moritz through Innsbruck from Salzburg on Sep 16. The station was filled with police and migrants. Our train was on time but had to detour around Germany adding 2 hours. Trains from Budapest to Salzburg were canceled on Sep 13, we had to rent a car to get to Salzburg. All trains going from Hungary to Austria were cancelled. Our 8:00 am train from Vienna to Budapest on Sep 11 was cancelled so the next train was standing room only, but we made it. Prior to this date there were no problems from Prague to Vienna.
You may want to go to another area of Europe at this time.

You might consider using Bean Shuttle from Prague to Vienna. Maybe spend a night in Cesky Krumlov on the way. This way you save a little bit of the train uncertainty

There are a number of well regarded shuttle van companies operating out of Cesky Krumlov that can possibly transport you throughout the region--between Prague to Salzburg to Vienna and even to Budapest. Their rates appear very reasonable.
Otherwise, this might be the year to go to other parts of Europe and use the budget air carriers to get around.
