Train from Budapest to Bratislava - Route Interruptions

I am trying to get to Bratislava from Budapest the morning of Wednesday, August 24, and am having a hard time deciphering the route interruption notices. If anyone could advise what train # to use, what station to get on at, and what the correct departure times are I would really appreciate it!!

(I am trying to get a 0 transfers ticket for the cheapest price, which I read should be about 10 euro.)

Thank you; however, when I search Budapest-Kelenföld to destination of Bratislava hlavna on the site on the site you mention I do not see those times (instead I see departures for 7:47 am, 9:02 am, etc.) and it says there will be 1 transfer, which I am trying to avoid. Even more strange, the transfer is at Budapest-Nyugati (which should be closed then?)

If I do a general Budapest to destination of Bratislava hlavna search, I do see a 8:28 departure 10:54 arrival, if that was the one were referring to? But once again, the departure is from Budapest-Nyugati. I am showing that it is 0 transfers, but I'm not sure that is correct because of the other link you provided showing the temporary buses. Additionally, like mentioned before isn't Budapest-Nyugati closed?

When I search departure from Budapest-Keleti, I get similar results as from Kelenfold time-wise (7:53 am, 9:05 am), and also with the same transfer at Budapest-Nyugati.

All these are showing for me as $10-$11 euros in price (at least before fees if there are any) and the trains leaving from Nyugati are 130 BÁTHORY EUROCITY or 278 METROPOLITAN EUROCITY.

Needless to say, I am still very confused! Considered taking Flixbus instead but it's a bit longer and my luggage doesn't fit their policy.

Sorry, my bad. I was looking for July 24.

No, Nyugati will not closed. https://hungarytoday.hu/nyugati-railway-train-station-budapest-closed-revamp-june-19/#:~:text=tam%C3%A1s%20schanda%20train-,Nyugati%20Railway%20Station%20to%20Be%20Closed%20for%20Month%2Dlong%20Revamp,government%20spokeswoman%20said%20on%20Tuesday. By August regular traffic is resuming and there are direct no transfer trains all day long out of Nyugati ...

Interesting station too ... designed by Eiffel.

Wander the metro station underground between the station and the shopping mall behind the station. Very "interesting" especially if you need woman's undergarments'.

Buy the tickets online with MAV. Pay in Forints if you can. The Euro exchange isnt that great.

Thank you so much!!
Oddly, I kept getting an error message when trying to purchase any ticket except for the 7:40 AM one, but I just went with that one and was able to get it.
