We are looking for recommendations of people who have used guided tours in Budapest. We will be there October 4-10, 2026. We really want someone who will provide door to door transportation, is knowledgable and an expert guide, will book all admissions and arrangements, and will specialize the tour for us.

Two years ago, George Farkas was my guide as part of a Rick Steves five-country trip in Central Europe (Czech, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia as well as Hungary). Though I prefer independent travel, I went with friends on a guided tour. I believe George is a contract tour guide for Rick Steves. George's email is [email protected].

Andrea was not available so she organized for us to have a different guide and driver. The guide’s name was Anikó. She was fantastic and I highly recommend her. I think our tour was 6 hours and included a minivan and driver.
