Thank you and trip report!

Hi everyone

We returned from our visit to Budapest a few weeks ago and I just want to send out a big thank you to James and everyone else that helped me in the year long planning. We absolutely loved Budapest (Prague not so much... way too crowded). I have a new travel blog that I started just before we left home and I have about six posts for Hungary (but there are another four more to go plus posts on Prague). Feel free to have a look if you'd like to see some of our favourite things. The rest will be up by the end of next week I expect. Again, thank you! It wouldn't have been near as enjoyable without your help.

Hi! I enjoyed looking at your blog. Just curious as we also travel with our 2 kids, but do you get one room or two or do you do airbnb?

In Budapest we rented an apartment with Entre Amis. That's one of the posts that I'm going to do in the next week but they're awesome. They have a bunch of apartments. Ours was very near the Opera on Hajos Utca. Fantastic location and it had bedding for 10. We were only 5 so it was great for us! They offer through airbnb.com but we booked directly with Francoise. They're a couple from Belgium that have several apartments in Budapest and they live there part time. Beti is the apartment manager and met us on arrival and departure. She was wonderful and even arranged our transport back to the airport. This was the apartment we booked but they also had others. http://www.entre-amis.be/en/appartementen-budapest/entre-amis-xxl/

It was way less expensive than two hotel rooms which is what we likely would have needed otherwise.

Hey Joanne,
My husband and I just returned from visiting Budapest. Prior to our trip, I made several visits to your Sunsets and Roller coasters website. It was a wonderful source in regards to our planning! Thanks so much for the restaurant tip to Zellar Bistro. The food and ambience were fantastic! (I agree with you that it was our best meal in Budapest) We also enjoyed a treat at Gelarto Rose. We never would have gone to either place without your recommendation. When planning our next trip, I will definitely take a look at your website to see if you traveled to the destination.
Thanks again,
Carol
