Has anyone used Taxify in Budapest? I understand it works like Lyft and Uber. I was wondering if it was safe and reliable. Also I heard of an app called taxibudapest. Which is the best way to go in taking taxis in Budapest? Thanks.

I agree with James (and he put me onto City Taxi in the first place!)--City Taxi has never let me down on my 3 trips, courteous drivers and they have never taken advantage of having a tourist (let alone a solo female) in the car to go out of the way. I only use a taxi to get from and to the airport--Budapest's public transit system is excellent.
