A friend who wants to live in Budapest didnt do due diligence about finding a short term rental (1 month) til she finds something more permanent. She's currently staying @ Central Apts Ferenciek tere 4 but doesn't speak Hungarian & unable to contact manager to extend her stay. She wants to stay in the inner city close to shops & restaurants. Any advice?

I stayed at an Airbnb (hosted by Zsuzsa and the title of the listing is "NEW Flat for YOU *****") and I liked it. It's clean and well equipped. It's a one-bedroom apt.
It's in the 13th district, which is close enough to public transit/cafes/restaurants that locals patronize.

Isn’t Budapest where forum member James E has an apartment he rents out when not using it? I thought it was mentioned in his profile, but no more. You might try sending him a private message. If he doesn’t have one himself, I’ll bet he know someone who does. He definitely speaks English!
