Hi
I will be visiting Budapest in a few weeks- I understand public transportation is excellent.
If I we need to user Uber - (I guess they use the same drivers as fotaxi) is it reliable?

Yes. It will be fine. But I started with City Taxi (before Uber was allowed) and like them. They have their own app, are very punctual and honest. You can set up the app at home before you leave.

Uber is fine. But it's not Uber like the US. It is yellow taxis with licensed taxi drivers, and you will pay based on the meter in the cab. The fare is the same as every other taxi in town. But you can use your regular Uber App to call and pay.
