Puszta Great Plains and Kecskemet Day Trip from Budapest

I have never done it. Ive got a couple of friends who have been trying to talk me into it for years. From those conversations and some research i have done it sounds like a good, albeit touristy day trip. But you will never get me on a tourist bus. Im going to wait till one of the shoulder seasons and hire a driver. You will need at leas 3 and 4 days is better in Budapest so unless you have 4 or 5 days in town i wouldnt pre-book. You might find out you would rather be in Budapest. I suspect you can get a seat on the bus the day before if you choose. Or call my driver.
