We are interested in a private guide in the Tokaj region of Hungary, especially for a wine tour. Anybody know anybody?

I’m not much help on this one. I know a number of guides that will take you to Eger & Tokaji but not any that are based in the area. I found these links that might lead to something for you.

I like using guides, especially for something like this. I will find names on the internet then google the names and research the heck out of them. Once i have one or two i email and start a conversation that can last for a month or more. I want to make sure I like them as i will be spending quite a bit of time with them. I have found some really wonderful people that way and they have added so much depth to the trip.
Another idea might be to hire a car (me i would get a driver and a car so i can enjoy the view and have someone who knows a bii about the region. The region is a bit slow to get around in with out a car so that helps make the most of time. Then plan your own trip.
