And while it would be a great drive through some stunning country, you can fly non-stop on LOT for about $115.
1 hour flight + 2 hours to airport and early arrival + 1 hour off the plane and into town = 4 hours
Figure 6 hours in a car door to door.

Thanks. We decided to fly - our time is limited for visiting Krakow & we found a reasonable return flight.

Yes, LOT has direct flights now. Although Slovakia is beautiful.
