We have just been forced to cancel a trip- and I have 3 tickets for the English speaking tour of the Parliament Building in Budapest at 1:30 on Saturday May 27. If anyone can use them and would like to have them, send me a private message and I will send you the link.
CW, noooooo! Sorry.
Hi CW
Are they still available? Sent you a PM
Hi all. I am going to visit the Hungarian parliament in budapest and was wondering if the ticket (from a tour company) allows you to go in and out of the parliament for the day. My husband has to take a work zoom meeting right after our tour! I would like us to stay longer. Any place quiet he can go to use internet and chat?
The ticket to the Hungarian parliament is for a guided tour only which lasts approximately one hour. The tour ends at a small museum within the visitor center. You are not allowed to go "in and out" of Parliment. You can take as much time as you need at the small museum but you are not allowed to reenter it once you leave. Security is very tight since it is a government building.
With respect to your husband's meeting, I don't think it is possible within the visitors center, but across from Parliment is a cafe on the river side near one of the statutes. I think it has internet and your husband could possibly find a quiet spot in this cafe.
There are places to sit, eat, drink at both back corners of the Parliament. Elysée Bistro & Kávéház
