Does anyone know how to navigate through Hungary's train website (www.mav-start.hu)? I'm trying to book a sleeper compartment in an overnight train from Budapest to Krakow on May 19, 2014. Every way I've turned I've hit a road block. It won't take my registration to book e-tickets. It says there is "no offer available for the journey with these conditions." The previous screen shows the exact train I want to take so I know it exists. I'm wondering if booking doesn't start until 60 days beforehand. But "The Man in Seat 61" says it opens 90 days ahead. I already ran into a "sold out" situation on the overnight train from Prague to Budapest. So I'm not willing to wait until we get there. And I'll be very disappointed if I have to spend an entire day sitting on the train from Budapest to Krakow. Can anyone advise me?

I plugged dates and couldn't get a quote after about April 25th, so I guess you have to wait a few weeks.

Hi, I'm having the same trouble... trying to book the train for the 10th of July. How did you get on with the booking in the end?
