I've been stalking the website for the Operettszinhaz for the past couple of weeks, waiting for tickets to be released for May--they finally showed the programme last week but I had to translate what "hamarosan" meant; available soon. Just now purchased my ticket to see Singing In the Rain on Saturday the 19th--very excited! And only $30 US for a front and center balcony seat--chosen on purpose because I need to see the English supertitles, last time I had to crane my neck from the front row. I saw a wonderful production there a couple of years ago and highly recommend it to anyone who loves musical comedies that are extremely well-produced and performed in an absolutely gorgeous theatre, and you'll be amongst the Hungarians, I heard no one around me speaking English at all.

Lucky you. I love the opertta. You did good with the seats too. One of the best advantages is you will be sitting with Hungarians. Tourists are generally in the on the floor. And if you got the seats i think you did, you will get an invite to the parlor at intermission
