Night train tickets in advance?

Do I need to buy tickets for the night train Budapest --> Prague online in advance, or can I buy them day of in the station? I am looking for 2nd class tickets, not sleeper car.
Any websites recommended to buy them in advance (MAV doesn't seem to have an option)?

Thank you in advance!

Please see http://www.seat61.com/international-trains/trains-from-Budapest.htm#Budapest-Prague:

"You can try to buy tickets for this train at the Hungarian Railways site www.mav-start.hu, but this may or may not currently book this train. Bookings open 60 days ahead. See tips for using mav-start.hu & how to collect your tickets.

If you don't see this sleeper train in the online search results, you'll just have to book at the international booking office in Budapest. It's unlikely to get fully-booked, but obviously you'll then pay full-price close to departure date. It'll be cheaper to go with a day train from €19, but then the sleeper does save time and a hotel bill."

Hi,

The Budapest-Prague night train has compartment accommodations for 2nd class. You'll be sitting in a six seat compartment with 5 others, if it's full.

If you wanted to be certain of reserving a place before you go, then Rail Europe sells these tickets from $112. I expect it will be cheaper to buy the ticket in Budapest. In either case, the cheapest bed in a couchette costs only about $15 more than a seat reservation (required), so I'd spring for a bed. All couchette and sleeper options on this route are cheaper than you would find in Western Europe.
