What can one expect re closures etc during April Easter 2026 holiday in Budapest?

Depends. Easter Sunday, a lot. Semana Santa (sorry, I am from Texas ... ahhh the week prior) the Spring / Easter Markets are open. The day after Easter Sunday, typical Monday closures.
So on Easter Sunday head to the bath house. They never close. Nice hotel restaurants will be open. Church is open and the architecture of the city is open.
