Does anyone know how to get from keszthely to Budapest by train or bus?

Direct trains take 3 hours and run mostly in the morning, plus a couple in later afternoon. How to Look Up Train Schedules and Routes Online gives you the DB train schedule link and tips for using it.

I always sort of favor using the Hungarian train service site when looking for Hungarian train service: http://elvira.mav-start.hu/elvira.dll/x/uf?iehack=%3F&ed=55F0586D&mikor=-1&isz=0&language=2&k=&ref=&retur=&nyit=&_charset_=UTF-8&vparam=&i=BUDAPEST*&e=Keszthely&v=&d=15.09.11&u=1&go=Timetable Fare for second class is wopping $14.00 and it runs out of Deli so you will miss a lot of the chaos. Have fun.
