Anyone going to Budapest in January??
Here now -- but leaving soon.
;-(
Hope you are having a good time.
Go to Kadarka and tell them I will be there in 2 weeks!!!
Not till March 13th - 64 days. Can't wait. I went in January 2017 but the Museum of Terror was closed as was the Fine Arts Museum
(for their multi-year renovation). Enjoy, James.
Sir James,
Have a great stay and give our best to the Kadarka gang. Lucky you! ;)
I ran into one of our fine RS folks in Budapest a few years ago and enjoyed it. Actually it has happened twice now. Thought I would ask. This is a very short business trip with a very quick side trip to Ukraine to try my luck at ice fishing.
May 14th for me, counting the days...one of these visits we will meet up, I hope!
Me toooooooooooo. And I might be back in mid to late May, then September/October for sure (best time of the year there) and my daughter wants to see the Christmas Markets so probably Thanksgiving too.
We'll be there again in late Feb!
Christy, then you have to go to this. It is an amazing cultural experience: https://www.mohacsibusojaras.hu/
Either rent a car and drive down for the day or get a transfer service. ..

Wow! It's possible our entire itinerary just changed. :)
I'll keep you posted.
Thank you!
I went a few years ago and had a blast. I'm spoiled so I hired a driver for the day. Went down early, came back late
Hi James
Charlotte, Steve & I met you & your lovely wife in Budapest in August 2016. How time flies!
James E: If you want ice fishing, you should come to Wisconsin or Minnesota.
I don't know if you have gone to the Hungarian Agriculture Museum. We went in May of last year, and it was really interesting (I'm being straight here). It was a combination of history and agriculture with a lot of folk culture as well.
Charlotte, Steve how could i forget. Alas the coffee shop in the Paris Department Store building is now closed......
Paul-of-the-Frozen-North, i prefer the company of Ukrainians.
