Hello. My daughter and I are currently in Budapest and we need to head to Munich on Sunday. I have searched the e shop and the DB navigator with no success. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Can someone tell me how we secure tickets for the train here?
There is a train about every two hours. Its a 7 hour trip from Nyugati station
You can mess with it on line and save a few dollars or you can go over to Nyugati and just purchase a ticket tomorrow morning.
Or you can fly for $211. Nonstop in about an hour. Normally $135, but yoiu waited too long.
I searched flights and didn't see anything that cheap that would allow all of our luggage. We have 1 checked bag and 3 carry on's. What sight did you see that on?
The cheapest flight on skyscanner is $358 a person. Dreams is more than that.
This makes twice I have screwed up dates today. I was looking at Sunday, August 25th. This is what happens with last minute planning, the $160 flight doubles in price.
What site are you on please?
I always start with Google Flights. They have the best filters and tools and seem to have the most real results. Great search tool. Then I check the other sites for better prices, but rarely find anything better.
I'd take the train myself. It's a little over my 6 hr threshold for switching to flight but in this case I'm sure it will be less expensive and no limit on luggage other than that you have to handle it yourself and I find trains much more relaxing than flying.
Because he waited too long to book hes boxed into the train and the loss of a day.
