Have anyone had experience with Flixbus transportation from Vienna to Budapest?

We plan to leave Vienna for Budapest in the afternoon, but last train schedule is at 2.19PM. I saw flixbus has one leaving close to 4PM. Given that we only stay 1 1/2 days in Vienna, we prefer to leave later in the day to make sure we have covered must see attractions. Does anyone have experience with flixbus?

I recently took Flixbus from Venice to Ljubljana. The bus was clean and left on time, although they did change the departure time to 1 1/2 hours earlier a few weeks before, which they notified me of by email.
I had problems finding the bus loading point at Troncetto but luckily a few other people were going to the same place and I just followed them. This might not be an issue in Vienna but I would be sure of my plans before the last minute.
If the timing works for you, I would recommend it.

It is not correct that the last train from Vienna to Budapest is early afternoon. What website are you using for this information?

And i dont know anything about your trip. But if you have a minimum 3 nights in Vienna and 5 nights in Budapest you might consider spending a night in Gyor located on the main rail line halfway between Budapest and Vienna.

The city of Gyor is very interesting

and the archabbey is amazing
