Hand-painted fine china

I have a love for hand-made anything......sewing, china......and have researched Anna Weatherly’s beautiful hand-painted china and see where it is painted at a factory in Hungary (maybe even Budapest?). I will be there in May and would love to see this factory and the painting that they do.....and see if the china is available for purchase. Anyone have any idea where this is? I have also been told to make certain not to miss the Herend china factory in Hungary-near Budapest I think- and tour it and purchase a piece in their factory store. Anyone done this before? I have family that says they purchased their Herend pieces in Prague but I would like to at least investigate the possibility of doing this in Budapest since it is made there. Any feedback on this is appreciated!!!!

My wife and I have a collection of hand painted porcelain ( including several Herend pieces ) accumulated over 45 years , While we have not visited Herend , we have visited Augarten , in Vienna . Regardless of the maker , the process is quite similar , and seeing the painting executed , is fascinating . Like Meissen ( Dresden ) , and Augarten ( Vienna ) Herend is hard paste porcelain , vitrified in multiple firings , the last of which fuses the painted decoration into the porcelain . The craftpersons who do the painting spend many years in apprentice programs acquiring the level of skill necessary to do this work . have a look - https://youtu.be/5oUXqbt0Vpg
