We will be in Budapest for 2 full days in July 2018, and have a list of all the places we want to see. Does anyone know of a good, English speaking, guide? We prefer to walk (and take public transit, if needed).
We were extremely happy with our guide Adam Botta ([email protected]). He spoke very good English, has a half day tour , and meets you at your hotel. Very limited use of public transportation. He is well versed in the history of Budapest. We were even able to buy him lunch at an authentic B restaurant that serves local people instead of tourists. If you contact him, please use our name.
Good lock and happy travels.
Bob and Ann Yax
Thank you so much!
Is he part of a Local Guide travel company?
Do they have a website, or something I can look up on line to see what they have to offer?
Thanks again!
Try tripadvisor.com/6584564. If I can come up with a website I'll send it on.

It brought me to Tourist Angel (Budapest). Is that the company? Thank you!
The website is www.privatebudapest.com......good luck
If he is busy this guy is good: http://www.guideinbudapest.com/
You can find Adam Botta's tours at Toursbylocals.com under Guide Adam B for the city of Budapest. Here is the link. https://www.toursbylocals.com/BudapestWalkingTourGuide
I am currently in communication with him about my trip to Budapest in October. He responds within a day or two.
