Would the 7 Day Pass get us from the airport in Budapest to the Kubanaya Kisesi metro stop, or would we need to buy a separate for ticket that?
Thanks.
Most people seem to take a shuttle bus from the Budapest Airport and they take you directly to your hotel. May take a little longer than a taxi, but it's cheaper.
Check the website, www.bkk.hu if you need to know what the pass covers from the airport--I only used my pass on metro and trams in town. The taxi is a much more pleasant & easy option--about 25 minutes, last May it cost me about $26 US and I must say the Budapest taxi drivers I've encountered have been helpful and honest.
Yes, take the 200 bus
Or
Taxi will cost you maybe 3000 to 3500 forints
If your goal is to get all the way into town, nothing is easier than a taxi (follow the black line on the floor from the baggage claim area). Rate to town center is abut 7000 forints ($24). Then buy your travel card so you can really enjoy it. Shuttle is okay too. Will save you about $5 based on two travelers; but will take 30 to 45 minutes longer.
