Not sure if this is allowed but we had two wonderful experiences recently in Budapest that I would like to recommend.
We did the "Evening Food and Wine Tour" with Taste Hungary that was absolutely delightful. There were 4 of us on the tour plus our guide and even though the tour was supposed to start at the Market Hall, it was Sunday, so we started at a wine tasting cellar, moved to a soup restaurant, a ruin bar, a butcher shop for main courses, and a cafe for desserts. It was a great value and so much fun.
We also did a wine tasting tour that we booked with a company called "City and Wine". This included a city tour, 3 different wine tastings in the Eytek area with a home cooked dinner at the third. Also a wonderful experience with a small group that had so much fun we went out for more drinks after the guide dropped us off. This is a small company that offers an identically memorable evening in Vienna.

If someone wanted a private wine tour i know a young lady that does excellrnt wine tours. I think a RS type us with her in a few weeks.
And there are small and large wine festivals almost every month. Im going to one later this month and another in June.
