This is a valid question - Bulgaria is an Orthodox Christian country and the date of Good Friday and Easter Sunday are often different to Catholic Easter. You can Google to see what dates they are in Bulgaria this year, and see whether they are public holidays there too.

ttsstevenson, no need to apologize. Yes 6th is Easter in Hungary. A lot will be closed but not the bath houses and not the beautiful architecture or the river tours. Better, the week leading up to Easter is the Spring Festival anf a good time to be here.
