My S.O. and I are travelling through Eastern Europe this May, and spending a week in Hungary. We regularly play duplicate bridge, and have done so on previous trips to Europe (its a great way to meet some locals). However, I am having a bit of trouble with the language barrier for some Eastern European countries. So if anyone can post a link to any duplicate bridge clubs (especially in English) in the following cities, I would sure appreciate it: Lviv, Tarnow, Cracow, Eger, Budapest.
I have no idea what Duplicate Bridge is, or why you would want a duplicate if the current bridge is still working okay. But maybe this will help, maybe not. http://bridzs.hu/ G-d Bless Google Translate.
It is a game, James but I am sure you knew that. It was popular a generation or two back. To play well requires a great memory that I no longer have.
