On a Viking tour and will have a free day. There are 4 of us and have usually booked a city tour with a guide. We will be traveling in mid-April. Any Suggestions?
Viking doesnt offer tours?
Yes they do, but we prefer smaller, more personal tours.

Here are travel forum search results from the past year - you will have to go through each topic, but should find some relevant referrals that may be of interest:
I called a friend for a recommendation and got this: https://lovefromhungary.com/tours/budapest-art-nouveau-walk/ I took a look at a few of the buildings on her tour and she is indeed getting you off the tourist trail to some degree (in a very good way). If you use her, please post a review here. Another RS type used her in the last month or so a posted a good review. But a lot has to do on what you want to see in your one day in Budapest. You can do a lot without a guide, but if you have some sort of special interest then maybe a different guide would be better. Jewish for instance.
