While water levels are receding in these areas, are river boats able to navigate the waterways? Can ships pass under the bridges? Is debris and swift currents preventing ships from navigating?
Many thanks :)

lynne is correct for anything other than general perception. Even where there is no flooding the river can get high enough to prevent the boats from coming down river. Happens from time to time. If I had to make a wild guess we get back below the "danger" level in about a week. Not sure I would count on anything till then. But we also have some rain in the forecast. But forecasts dont predict how heavy and you would have to examine the data for the entire Danube Watershed up river from here to make an educated guess. I can say I havent see a lot of debris running down river. A lot less than I would have guessed would be the case. I have seen some, not a lot, piled up against some of the boats.
