Have checked online several times in the past 2 weeks for a flight (1 hour) from Budapest to Prague in June 2018. It allowed me
at that time to book a flight at 9.15 am. I did not book the flight then but today I went into their site and they would only allow me to book a flight at 3PM. Would the flight in the morning already be book out?? If so I notice the train is 6 hours and leaving at 5.40 am or 7.40 I would be there 2 hours before the plane flight. Can anyone tell me if the train would be better and cheaper. As it stands now the flight would cost us $375.00 Canadian.
You input would be appreciated.
Ryanair begins the same route October 17th. They will be cheaper.
Thanks David- already checked Ryan Air for November for pricing purposes and they seem to have only 1 flight per day at 7.30 at night. I will check again when new schedule comes out in November.
Sorry David- I meant to say they will have a new schedule maybe in April (6 months from this schedule) perhaps they will add a morning flight.
www.skyscanner.com shows Czech Air flying three non-stops daily. The airline's site indicates prices from $97 to just under $150 Cdn. https://www.csa.cz/ca-en/
