We’re in Budapest having a wonderful time. Thanks for all your suggestions over the past few months! One last request, where can I buy a chimney cake that doesn’t cost $18?! We’re located in the Jewish Quarter, but we’re willing to travel! We’re over 65 and loving the free transportation.

There’s a tiny shop on the corner of Kiraly and Erzsebert. If you walk on Kiraly, away from the river, when you get to Erzsebert you make a right and it’ll be right there on your right hand side after you pass the pharmacy. It was there on 2023, hopefully it’s still there.

There used to be one on the corner at Oktagon (I think). I’ve never actually bought one in Budapest - only in Prague. 🤣

And one at Andrassy ut 1 (end of the Avenue) . Save a 1000 ft and buy it in the Deak Ferenc or Astoria Metro station. Thats more for the locals.
