I booked a vacation that includes Budapest this September and splurged on a room at the Gresham Palace (Four Seasons) with a river view. However, I just learned the Chain Bridge is under construction. Does anyone happen to have recent pictures? Wondering if the cost of the room is worth it given the view. Any input is appreciated!

The cost of the room is well worth it. Yes, the Chain Bridge is beautiful all lit up (and it will not be) but the view across to the Budapest Castle District is breathtaking in the evening. You did well.

We are booked into the Hilton on the Buda side this winter. Thank you JamesE for your response. That was helpful to me as well since that was the bridge we have used in the past to cross over to Pest.
