Arrived in Budapest a few days before sailing on a River Cruise in November. Found Butterfly in Rick Steves book. In Pest, 5-10 minutes from National Museum, Grand Market, Tram & Metro . We have traveled to Europe more than a dozen times independently relying on Rick's Network -Chose a cruise because of age & infirmity. Andras, was the single best host we have ever had. Room spacious, price reasonable (72 Euro) furnishings, bath excellent. Breakfast in restaurant next door included usual European Continental plus egg, waffle or other hot dishes available with a daily menu change. We had planned our itinerary, Andras revised the order and it improved our understanding and made our visit better. He arranged with a friend for a reasonable and efficient transfer from the airport and also to a clinic and then on to our ship at the end of our stay. He also recommended The Soul Cafe (10 minute walk) where our dinner experience was excellent... Hoping to return to Budapest for a longer stay at Butterfly B&B.
