Hi all - what is the best way to travel from Budapest to Dubrovnki, Croatia during the May/June timeframe?

The trip i once did that worked out well was fly from Budapest to Belgrade to Dubrovnik. Really enjoyed a few nights in Belgrade. From Dubrovnik we worked our way down the coast to Podgorica and then flew back to Budapest. Loved Montenegro enough to return the following year; cant say the same about Dubrovnik.

We did the reverse trip and we flew to Vienna from Dubrovnik and spent the night and a full day there and then took the train from Vienna to Budapest. It was terrific.
