In the process of planning our next trip. We were in Budapest this past late September and loved it. I have read a bit about their Spring Festival. Anyone been? Are the dates usually the last two weeks in March?
Thanks for your help.

Its at the end of April. Here is this year's program. https://budapestitavaszifesztival.hu/en/
Other good ones are the Jewish Summer festival and St. Stephens Day. But of course those are both summer.
Glad you enjoyed the trip.
This one is a bit overly dramatic, but its pretty good: https://youtu.be/1nd5AtZIrTk?feature=shared
I arrived at the end of April in 2017 and enjoyed the Spring Festival--excellent food and wine offerings, and good variety of quality handmade items--nothing mass-produced. I attended the wonderful Museum Festival in 2016 on the grounds of the National Museum, near Kalvin ter, and have not been able to get the dates right again since then, but did manage to be in town when they celebrate Whitsunday--lots of food and music and dancing up on Castle Hill, and in the Varosliget (City Park).
