My wife and I are travelling to Budapest for the first time next week for a few days. We're experienced travellers in Europe and elswhere, and both are photographers who like to do street photography in 'gritty' (but safe) areas. We'd much rather photograph real locals in their natural urban environments than hoards of tourists with Nikons round their necks!
Has anyone got any recommendations for areas & routes in the city which would be good for this sort of thing?
