While in Hungary in particular and the region in general you will see a lot of duck on the menu. That sort of explains the pate and the feather pillows and comforters.......

We highly recommend Cafe Kor. We ate there about 10 years ago and then again thus past April. It's rather small so suggest reservations, but it's not stuffy and the speak good English. But if you go, be sure to ask the prices for their specials. Turns out the asparagus appetizer was more expensive than our entrees. We have liked everthing we've eaten there. And you'll love Budapest!
