If you are coming from or going to Vienna, that just means you will use Budapest-Kelenföld station. Budapest-Kelenföld is not terribly inconvenient. Take the M3 metro line to and from Pest.
Hello - here is an email I just received regarding my tickets
Timetable change:
Your connection from Vienna Central Station (August 30, 2025, 8:42 AM) to Budapest-Keleti has either changed or been removed from the schedule. Please check online for alternative connections.
We apologize.
There are no additional details on what exactly is happening with my ticket. Is it safe to assume the train will just arrive in Kelenfold instead of Kelti?
I see you got your answer on the other thread. You are going to Kelenföld now. You miss the charm of the great old Keleti Station but no great inconvenience otherwise. Two metro lines or a metro and a tram and you will be at your hotel.
