Just to let fellow travellers know that even though on their website they said no prepayment , they do charge 20 % of the total bill as a deposit without notice. I found this out from my visa bill - surprise ! Their private car service from the airport is € 33 FYI .

A private taxi will cost you about 20 euro. With the private car you will be greeted in the arrivals hall, then you will have to wait while he goes and gets the car as only Fotaxi is allowed to park in the arrival pick up lane. By the time he gets the car and works his way to the door you could have been in a taxi and on your way out. Or at least this is how it worked a few years ago. Fotaxi runs a pretty slick operation. Follow the black line on the floor from baggage to their kiosk right outside and tell the person in the Kiosk where you are going. They will give you a receipt with the max you can be charged printed on it. You take that about 40 feet to where another person will help you with your bag and get you in the right taxi. In no time you are there (30 to 40 minutes to District V where your hotel is located)

Oh, Hungary uses the forint, not the euro. So pay for the taxi with a credit card for the best deal. For the return trip i prefer City Taxi

The website for Butterfly Home Penthouse, Butterfly Home Danube, and Budapest Bed and Breakfast reads for all three:
"Do I have to pay deposit?
We usually ask for a 20% deposit for early bird reservations."
So why is this an issue? It does not say "no prepayment".
And BTW, Butterfly Home Penthouse was delightful when we visited end of 2016, Andras outdoes his parents' B and B Bellevue.

Butterfly Home Hotel, Butterfly Home Penthouse; a lot of butterflies flitting around. At any rate, the Butterfly Home Penthouse 3 Teréz krt is wonderfully situated. Outside of the tourist hub but still in the tourist zone. You have remember, unlike Prague for instance where all is located in a few tight districts; in Budapest the whole town is the attraction. There are just some areas thicker with tourists than others (District V for example). Where the Butterfly Home Penthouse is located you will find about 40% tourists and 60% Locals on the sidewalks. Pretty ideal. AND, best of all its just a short walk to my favorite wine bar!!
