Budapest: Cooking Class/Eat with Host

We are planning a river cruise originating from Budapest in mid-March. We had arranged for a private market tour/cooking class BUT our contact is not planning to resume the tour until later in the year. Any recommendation of a Eat with Host or Cooking Class maybe combined with a market tour would be exactly what we are looking for.

In 2018 I took a couple of half day tours with Budapest Locals (https://budapestlocals.com), one of the highest rated Budapest tour companies, and I highly recommend them for their city tours.

Anyway, the guide on our food tour mentioned she also worked for a local cooking school, Chef Parade, and I know nothing else about it but it sounds like the kind of experience you are looking for.

I wonder how much damage has been done by Covid and loss of tourism to these kinds of tour and experience companies in Budapest as well as other cities in Europe?

Agnes. That was her. Too bad. We had a great time. She is a character.

Stir the pot, drink the palinka, stir the pot, drink the palinka, repeat, repeat.

There was another, a larger company advertising on internet. Google Cooking Class Budapest.
