We arrived on Christmas eve and enjoyed dinner, reserved in advance, at Aszu Etterem. On Christmas Day we walked to one of the Christmas markets where booths were open for us to shop, took a boat ride on the Danube and ended up eating pizza for dinner. The next day we saw the Nutcracker at the opera house and went to the baths. In between, we walked a lot of miles taking pictures and seeing the sights.

Impossible to top that first post. As you can see, a lot is open and its a pretty sweet time to be here. Dinner Christmas Day doesnt have to be pizza, there are open restaurants. But book in advance.
