This coming September, we (4 of us "older" adults) from the USA will be renting/hiring a boat in Hungary in the Tokaj region on the Tisza and Bodrog rivers. This a self-boating trip with a reputable company Nicols. This company rents out boats all across Europe and has been doing it for quite a while with generally very good reviews.

My issue is that apparently, Hungary only opened up to these boat rental companies in 2020, and so this has only been going on for 3+ years. That does not seem like a lot of time to work out all the bugs, but I may be wrong.
We will limit our boating adventure to 3 or 4 nights and then spend the rest of the week or ten days in Budapest.
I know this is a broad question, but are there any things I need to consider for the boating holiday in "rural" Hungary?
