In 2027, my husband and some other family members want to go see Bakonyjago, Hungary. His family immigrated to the US from there. The plan right now is to take a Danube cruise that ends in Budapest and then visit Bakonjago. I can find very little about the town. Is anyone familiar at all with this area of Hungary? I know it isn't a place many people visit, but was hoping someone might have some insight. Thank you.

Cant help you. I was fairly close Sunday picking wild garlic in a park and i have been to nearby Pápa where there is an interesing old estate house and a Hungarian / NATO air base. But none of that helps you.

I know a local guy that does transfers and tours with a bus or a van. Try for 20 August. It would be perfect.
