Hello all, arriving in Budapest 3/25 and staying for three days; I was curious if anyone knows the best current "transport card"??? Do they have a three day card??
Ohhh, also...what are the current best ways to get to monument park??? I know it changes quite a bit off season. I believe there is a bus that leaves from the stop by Gellert hill? Any information would be very appreciated.

You want to concentrate on the Travel Card and not the BUDAPEST CARD unless you are a big lover of museums...
And for Memento Park I gave you the easy answer. If it were me I would take a taxi. Fare each way for two people by taxi would run about 10,500 forints including the tip for car fare and tickets. The park bus is 9,800 for two including tickets. The difference in cost is about $2.25 and you can control your own schedule. Call City Taxi +36- 1 -2-111-111
FULL DISCLOSURE: I have been traveling to Budapest on a regular basis for about 15 years now; the last 7 years multiple times per year. Still, I have never been to Memento Park. :(
