An evening in budapest

We are starting a river cruise from Budapest on May 26 and will be arriving in the afternoon of may 25. Any ideas about an evening in Budapest?

We did this last year. We stayed at the Brody House - a great eclectic B&B with wonderful breakfasts and lavender tea that is in one of the few remaining castles of Budapest. We were within walking distance to our AMA boat.

We ate goulash stew at Spinoza, gelato at Gelarto Rose, and took tons of photos at the ruin bars, Szimpla and Mika Tivador.

You really don't have much time. Unless you have some great interest I would spend it in the cafes on the waterfront https://1drv.ms/i/s!Ai7Zk-szxfTJhP9CRzqkJJH_WW52iQ . Maybe duck into the Café Gerbeaud http://blog.vantagetravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Budapest-s-Gerbeaud-Cafe-1030x593.jpg for desert or walk up Andrassy ut to sit outside the Callas Cafe have a drink and people watch and enjoy the architecture all lit up at night. https://averylonghoneymoon.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/budapest_nm-5204.jpg

Or a little further to Kadarka's wine bar. Sit outside (reservation). Tell them I sent you and have Mr Z and Julie teach you about Hungarian wines ...
