I am not Jewish, but I absolutely recognize the loss of life during WWII. I would like to add a stone to the memorial, if allowed, but do not want to be disrespectful. Would it be rude to add two painted stones, one with a Monarch butterfly and the other of a Monarch caterpillar? Again, I don't want to be disrespectful. Obviously, I don't have to do it. Thanks.

I can say with a pretty good degree of certainty that no one will be offended. There is generally a number of stones left by visitors.

I will be there on Oct. 7 and would like to leave something as well. My husband's family was murdered in the Holocaust.
