Adding a cooking lessons to our itinerary

My husband and I will be visiting Budapest this coming June for the first time. I think a fun addition to our trip would be to take a cooking lesson together. Hungarian is a cuisine that I don't have any experience with and would love to learn some basics from a local. Has anyone done this before and have a recommendation of a provider? Thanks!

Yes, and had a blast. Agnes is great. You can do it two ways. Go grocery shopping in the Great Market Hall with Agnes then return to her home to cook, or if time is of a premium you can just meet her at her home for the cooking experience. Its a lot more than just a cooking experience though as you get a little slice into real life in Budapest.

On a RS tour last October, my group had a cooking class at Chef Parade. They then gave us a 109 page color cook book. The restaurant was very clean and seemed well organized.
