I have the June 2015 Eastern Europe guidebook. It says Discover Tours' "Absolute Walk" 3.5 hr tour should cost 4500 Ft and Rick's guidebook will get you a 500 Ft discount. We walked in today, July 13, 2015, and were shocked to hear the tour price has DOUBLED to 9000 Ft / person. The book says prices are valid for 2015 but may be slightly higher in 2016. The front desk people were polite but said the book's information is way out of date. Online prices using discount code "RICK" were 24.23€.

I know they do the best job they can with the guide books. Always good to double check everything. The website price was pretty clear. http://www.absolutetours.com/budapest-absolute-walk-tour.php That being said I don't blame you for be a little upset. You may end up like me. I don't believe in anything that I cant read, touch or smell by myself.
