This might be a long shot for this forum, but due to a flight change I am scrambling to get my hair cut and colored in Budapest on 8/22 or 8/23 before returning to the US for my sister’s wedding on 8/24. Any salon recommendations?! I am looking for a good quality, reputable salon; I usually go to an Aveda salon in Seattle, so I would be looking for something similar. Let me know if you have any leads!

If you see a local with nicely done hair, ask her where she gets it done.
Hopefully some hair care person can make time for you on short notice.

The concierge at a high-end hotel is going to recommend a high-end salon, which will probably do a good job for you. There may be some language challenges, so it would be a great idea to take a written explanation of what you want.
I've gotten haircuts in Europe several times, including in Bulgaria. There have been no disasters. That said, coloring is not the same as cutting, I wasn't heading straight to a family wedding and I'm not picky about my hair.
