Restaurants in Budapest

We recently returned from a visit to Budapest.

We ate in the following restaurants that we would recommend.
La Pampa-A Argentinean type steakhouse. www.lapampa.hu. Very contemporary, good service and steaks. 106 Bajczy Zsilinsky ut21. I would recommend reservations.
Hungarikum Bisztro wwwhungarikumbisztro.hu. You definitely need reservations, I think they turned away 20 parties while we were eating dinner. Service and food very good.

Cafe Bouchon, www.cafebouchon.hu-1066 BP. Zichy J. U. 33, located just a couple of blocks off Andrassy.Ut

Borbirosag is a great restaurant behind the Grand Market--one block from LaPampa steakhouse mentioned above. When looking at the front door of the Grand Market, you walk down the street on the left side of the market. The restaurant is one block on the left behind a little park. Borbirosag.com is their website.

You're just a block off the river (tram) and the newest Metro line has a station below the Grand Market.
If someone is looking for a place to stay, LaPampa Restaurant has an apartment with a kitchen that's absolutely lovely--and a very good price.
