I will be visiting (solo) Budapest for three days in late October, prior to a Danube River cruise. I have been to Budapest once before, but it was many years ago, so I will want to re-visit all the things. Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Thoughts on the location relative to sights, public transportation, etc.

No, not really convenient. The hotel is in Buda by the Margrit Island Bridge, so it is convenient to Margrit Island, not much else. You want to stay in Pest if you can. BUT, if you insist, we help make it work for you. Everyone has their opinion.
