Kapital Inn's hosts Albert and Paul are the #1 reason for choosing to stay at this wonderful B&B. All the reviews laud their guidance and help which we echo. We had an unfortunate problem occur as we were leaving Budapest. We contacted Albert and for the next few days, he worked over and above what would have been expected to help us. We cannot thank him enough! If one is losing faith in humanity in today's world, Albert's actions are proof that there is still hope.
Kapital Inn is a great place to stay. We were in Budapest at the end of a Christmas market cruise. We were greeted at the door and our luggage was taken and whisked up the steps to our room. Yes, there are stairs but even being 70+ years we were able to climb (at a slower pace) to the top.
The huge kitchen is beautiful! The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and enabled us to power through the day. Snacks and hot drinks are always available for guests.
Albert and Paul went over maps with recommendations and tips on planning, sightseeing and food choices as well as metro and and public transport for the farther sights. We were directed to the mall as an inexpensive place to purchase "another" bag (sorry Rick) for our Christmas market buys.
Our room was spacious, clean and quiet with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The bath was nice sized with a large shower and rain shower head.
Kapital Inn is located within walking distance of many sites and close to public transportation.
We highly recommend this "kapital" home away from home.
